ES2UT22 - Quarter-Shifting Program

This utility program shifts the Micro File quarters, allowing new Micro Data to be introduced through IMT records processing by the ES2MI01 program. While the oldest quarter is rolled off, it is also rolled into the Cumulative Micro Archives File for historical reference. This program transfers editing sort parameters into the Lookup File's 'STATE' record. Sorting parameters are then preserved throughout the quarter in all Micro Edit / Integrated edit processing runs.

This program is run solely in Job 001Q or 001R. Thus, it should be executed exactly one time each quarter.
